We all must do what we can to protest Trump’s comments and actions. There’s usually 2 or 3 or more announcements a day that demonstrate why he is an ANTI-Humanist, starting with how he isn’t defending and protecting the Constitution as he should. Here are his remarks from yesterday’s National Prayer Breakfast:
TRUMP: (from CNN)
“. . .Among those freedoms is the right to worship according to our own beliefs. That is why I will get rid of and totally destroy the Johnson amendment and allow our representatives of faith to speak freely and without fear of retribution. I will do that.”
The Johnson amendment prohibits tax-exempt organizations like religious groups from endorsing or opposing political candidates, something Trump often mentioned on the campaign trail.

DEAR MR. PRESIDENT: WRONG
This is all wrong because in the Constitution we separate Church and State. This is a democracy, not a theocracy. Yes, you are free to worship how you like, but churches are tax-exempt and don’t have to report the source of their income. Let’s keep it that way. That’s fine. But repealing the Johnson Amendment will open the door for dark money to pour into churches. Churches should not become Political Action Committees!
HUMANISTS SUPPORT THE RIGHT OF EVERYONE TO WORSHIP HOW THEY PLEASE. BUT WE SHOULD NOT TURN HOUSES OF WORSHIP INTO DENS OF PARTISAN POLITICS.
Churches already are dens of partisan politics.
It’s time to tax them!
